How would you describe your art to someone who has never seen it before?
Abstract sculptures. « Supersonva » series is a heartfelt tribute to our intrinsic connection with the natural world. It focuses on the details of light and colors in the Universe. The draped, iridescent work reveals the light in all its nuances and reflections. Like a nebula, its essence shines through.
If you could travel anywhere to create for a while, where would you go?
Greece and Italy have always been an endless source of inspiration and creation. I always fall in love with the Mediterranean sea all over again, igniting my creativity.
What motivates you?
At the heart of my work is the feminine creative force and the quiet beauty of nature. I create with the belief that art can express our deep, sacred bond with the Earth : capturing the intricate details of light and color that shape our Universe.
What is a medium you want to explore? (and why?)
I am fascinated by the potential of glass as a medium. Glass' transparent and light- transforming properties provide a special platform for art, allowing for delicate or bold creations. Exploring glass opens up an exciting new creative journey for me.
I had the privilege of assisting Galia Amsel in New Zealand, an internationally renowned artist known for her cast-glass sculptures. Her work, inspired by movement, circular forms, and light, deeply influenced my own artistic practice.
